Proposed Changes to Jocelyn Township Building Permit Fees April 21, 2026 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JOCELYN Information supporting the proposed increases in Building Permit Fees (as required by Section 1.2.1.2 of Ontario Regulation 332/12 under the Building Code Act) NOTICE: The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Jocelyn is proposing to change the fee structure of the Township’s building permit fees. This decision is recommended by staff, following a review of the current permit fee structure and the costs associated with providing the service to enforce the Ontario Building Code Act with regards to the issuance of building permits through Section 7 of the OBCA. The effect will be to change the overall fee structure with the intent to set fees based on size and complexity of the structure. Updated Landfill Site Holiday Hours

UPDATED LANDFILL HOLIDAY HOURS NOTE: During holiday weekends, the Landfill site will operate from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Mondays instead of Sundays. Please note that the Landfill site will no longer be open on both Sunday and Monday as was previously the case.

Updated Jocelyn Township Hall Fee Information

NOTICE: EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 20, 2026 HALL RENTAL FEE SCHEDULE NOTES: The cleaning deposit will be refunded following a staff inspection completed within three (3) days after the event. Additional setup or takedown fees apply to one-day events only. Event dates are secured only once all required fees and deposits are paid. All payments must be made prior to the event and during regular office hours. Ratepayers wishing to request a waiver of fees may do so by submitting a written request by email to the Township Office at least one (1) week in advance of the event.
