Cheques (made out to Township of Jocelyn) can be mailed to:

Please write your Property Roll Number on your cheque to ensure that payment is applied to the correct account.

 

  • Drop Box

Make a payment by cheque using our 24-hour mail slot. The mail slot is located in the front door of the Municipal Office.

In a sealed envelope, please write your Property Roll Number on your cheque to ensure that payment is applied to the correct account.

 

  • In-Person

In-person payments can be made at the Municipal Office. The office is open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

Ratepayers have to provide the following to their individual bank when they go online or call their banking institution:

  • their 19 digit roll #;
  • as the payee we are either:
    • TOWNSHIP OF JOCELYN TAXES

                                   OR

    •  JOCELYN (TOWNSHIP OF) TAXES
  • check with their bank for other details as each banking institution varies in procedures.

 

Allow at least four business days for your bank to process the transaction and send us your payment.

These funds will auto-deposit – no password is necessary.

Using your banking institution’s Interac e-Transfer tool, ratepayers may set up the following:

  • Contact’s Name: Township of Jocelyn
  • Notify by: email
  • Contact’s Email Address: admin@jocelyn.ca
  • Notification Language: English
  • “Add Contact”
  • When sending an e-transfer, you MUST include all 19 digits of your roll number in the message box.
  • If an e-transfer payment applies to multiple roll numbers, please indicate the amount to be allocated to each roll number in the message box.

                              For example: 5701-000000-xxxxx-xxxx  $50.00

Using your banking institution’s Interac e-Transfer tool, ratepayers may set up the following:

  • Contact’s Email Address: admin@jocelyn.ca
  • Notification Language: English
  • “Add Contact”
  • When you send money by e-transfer, you MUST use the message box to provide the reason for the payment (i.e. Dog Tags; Fire Permit; Pre-Consult Fee; Building Permit).

 

Allow at least four business days for your bank to process the transaction and send us your payment.

The Township of Jocelyn is pleased to advise ratepayers that credit and debit payments are now accepted for taxes, licences, permits and zoning applications.  Debit and credit card payments can be made at the Jocelyn Township Office.

Please be advised that a 3% processing fee applies to all credit card payments and will be added to the total amount due at the time of payment.
