SUMMER HOURS:

May 1st to September 30th
Sunday & Wednesday 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

WINTER HOURS:

October 1st to April 30th
Sunday & Wednesday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

*HOLIDAY HOURS:

Please note that during holiday weekends, the Landfill site will operate from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Mondays instead of Sundays. The Landfill site will no longer be open on both Sunday and Monday as was previously the case.

The landfill site for waste disposal for Jocelyn Township is located at 1117 4th Concession. It is open to ratepayers of Jocelyn Township. Jocelyn Township also encourages the use of the recycling facilities available to help preserve the life of our landfill.

The firefighters collect beer cans, bottles, liquor and wine bottles for returns at the landfill site.

SHARE SHED

All public is welcome to visit our Share Shed from April 1st to November 1st.  Any monetary donations received are brought to the St. Joseph Island food bank.

The Share Shed is open Wednesdays and Sundays.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

April and October:  12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

May until the end of September:  12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

In 2017, the Corporation of the Township of Jocelyn eliminated FREE DUMP DAYS. In its place the Township is providing a TICKET that permits you
ONE Free Dump Day per year to be used on ANY day the landfill is open throughout the year.  Further information is available at the link below:

Jocelyn Township Landfill Tickets

Starting January 1st, 2026, recycling will be managed by the province through Circular Materials (CM). The Township has been provided a dedicated webpage at https://www.circularmaterials.ca/resident-communities/jocelyn/.
