ROADS DEPARTMENT NOTICE: RESURFACING ON 5TH SIDEROAD JOCELYN ROADS RESURFACING OPERATIONS – 5TH SIDEROAD Please be advised: Starting this afternoon, Friday, August, 7th, Resurfacing Operations will begin on 5th Sideroad from U Line to just south of the 4th Concession. This is a “Tar and Chip” type of Resurfacing. This will result in LOOSE GRAVEL! This will require DRIVING WITH EXTRA CARE! We would ask that you SIMPLY SLOW DOWN! The loose gravel will likely last for a few weeks at least as the resurfacing sets. As always, PLEASE DRIVE ACCORDING TO THE ROAD CONDITIONS! Please click on the link below to complete an eBilling Request Form if you would like to request eBilling for an existing property tax account. Credit and Debit Payment Options Now Available The Township of Jocelyn is pleased to announce that credit and debit payments are now accepted for taxes, licences, permits, and zoning applications. Debit and credit card payments can be made at the Jocelyn Township Office. Please be advised that a 3% processing fee applies to all credit card payments and will be added to the total amount due at the time of payment.

BURN SEASON IS HERE. TIME TO RENEW YOUR FIRE PERMIT! Here’s some background information: – The Fire permit is a legal document that allows you to burn at a specific time and location. – It is required between April 1st and October 31st and must be renewed (at no cost) annually. – By getting a fire permit, you are taking responsibility for conducting a burn safely. – You must follow the rules on the burn permit and have the fire fighting equipment specified on hand (typically a shovel/rake/garden hose, etc. See the permit for specifics). 👉 For fires other than a campfire, a fire permit is required. What qualifies as a campfire? A campfire is a small, controlled, outdoor fire used for warmth, cooking, or casual socializing and is typically contained within a fire ring or pit. It is not a bonfire (which is intentionally large, meant to be visible

Township of Jocelyn Slogan Contest The Township of Jocelyn is inviting residents to take part in an exciting opportunity to help shape our community identity. As we introduce our new logo, we are looking for a slogan that captures the spirit of Jocelyn—whether it reflects our strong sense of community, the natural beauty that surrounds us, or a creative play on words unique to our Township.
