Relax, kick back, and take a breath.

    The Township of Jocelyn is rural with an extensive resource recreation area. One of the areas largest industries is maple syrup production. This Township is home to one of the Island’s largest maple syrup producers and every spring people travel to witness and enjoy the maple syrup process. 

    The Township’s recreation committee focuses on family fun throughout the year by organizing fun days which can be enjoyed by the whole family. For more information about the events and the quests available daily that are hosted by the recreation committee please visit our Events page.

    The three parks located within the Township provide an assortment of activities for residents and visitors of all ages. 

    This Township is also home to Fort St. Joseph National Historic Site, one of Canada’s historic sites. The site features the excavated ruins of Fort St. Joseph as well as a visitors center which includes a small theatre. Guided or self tours of the site are available. The park is open seasonally.

Mountainview Centennial Park

3670 5th Side Road on Highway 548

This park is open year round featuring scenic views and fun for the whole family. The grounds offer a picnic area, Disc Golf Course, hiking as well as cross-country ski trails and toboggan hill in the winter.

 

The House of History and the Mountainview School are also located at this park and are open seasonally on weekends.
